Mount Ledang

Each has its own legend.The most strange thing is that the story Legend of Mount Gemih have a gold cave guarded by their waiting a golden calf.In the old map of Portuguese, this GEMIH name written as "GUMMAY" which means a center of gold enterprises.According to Colonel Gerini (1904), Gemih still a gold mining center of the Malays in Mount Ledang until the year 1817.Rounsevelle Wildman, a famous writer from the United States have found a piece of metal taken from the mines on the banks of the River Gemih in 1894, when melted down and found to contain gold.           There is something special in Mount Ledang full of legend, which is one of three peaks named as Peak castle, believed to be the top place Puteri Gunung Ledang sit and play with dayangnya.           Discovery garden full of beautiful orchids and arranged neatly by Alfred Wakauce, a British historian in 1854, can not be regarded as normal.
